Home Description
Description of the home
The house is beautiful and has zen vibes, has pretty much everything you might need. Shared bathroom, with separate toilet. The house is in a great location - it’s a 3 minute walk to Greenslopes mall and a very short walk to bus stops heading to both Mt Gravatt and also to the City and Stones Corner (15-20 minutes). So ideal for someone without a car.
The bedroom available has French doors onto the back deck where there is a cosy sitting area, plants and a hammock chair.
Home should be our sanctuary and happy place - * preferably * I am looking for an older female housemate (45+) who is possibly vegan/vego. Under house parking available for when storms roll in.
Average bills are $50-80 for electricity p/month and $70 p/quarter for gas. Water bills are approx $55 p/quarter.
About you:
Considerate, likes cats, non-smoker, vego/vegan, open to communication, tidy and willing to help out with communal housework (we can agree on who does what and I’m not a cleaning nut either). Looking for someone who is conscious of energy use too.
I don't mind if you are not working/on a pension, I just want an awesome housemate. If coming up with a bond is something that might be an issue for you, we can come to an agreement.
** Rent to be paid 2 weeks in advance **

I’m an office worker (WFH 5 days a fortnight), vegan and cat mum to a 3 year old rescue cat called Perry ("Pezza") – he is super nervous about people and still learning to trust. It would be lovely to have a housemate who has a calm energy and loves cats.
I enjoy socialising with a housemate after work now and then and on weekends occasionally if it comes up and don’t want to share a home with a complete stranger who never interacts – it would be lovely to make a new friend who likes company but I also won’t live in your pocket. I don't smoke but I’m a social drinker and prolific coffee drinker.
When I get free time I like to catch up with friends outside of the house, explore new cafes, museums, and head to the markets, but mostly I love chilling out at home with Perry and a good TV show or book and a pot of tea or a few wines.
The yard is huge and fully fenced (the landlord does the mowing - he is awesome) but due to Perry’s skittishness, not looking for a housemate who already has a pet, sorry.
