The room that is available is a good size, 2.9m x 3.3m, with a double door built in wardrobe, and easily fits a queen size bed. The room is air-conditioned and has two windows facing the street to give some nice sunlight into the room. You will be sharing the bathroom and separate toilet with the other housemates upstairs as Nick has his own downstairs.

This huge house on a hill (with no real view but we get some mad cool breezes) is in a nice and quiet area of Mcdowall, surrounded by nature reserves just in walking distances for those who like a daily nature fix.

10 minutes drive to Chermside shopping centre, 5 minutes from local Coles and Woolworths. Bus stop is also in walking distance on the main road. Everything you need is real close.

This double brick 5 bedroom home has a small front yard entertaining area with a BBQ and a large backyard with a small vege garden and some fruiting banana palms. There are four bedrooms upstairs, and Nick resides in the downstairs area. There is a large lounge room with an epic home theatre, with a huge 120'' projector screen and a media centre with over 2500 movies. The kitchen is huge, with a cute little balcony off to the side to have your morning coffee/breakfast or watch the sun set. Laundry is downstairs with only a washing machine, but there is a sun room for drying your clothes upstairs which is next to the kitchen.

On a good run, the city is only 20mins drive away. So the house is in a great location, and with super nice housemates. Winning!

Currently in the house are two legends.

Nick has been renting the house for ever.
He’s a plumber, works long hours, loves watching his movies. And there’s Walter, another tradie, sign writer and an amazing artist. The house is big enough to have your own space.
The simple cleaning chores are divided between all housemates to successfully maintain a clean and tidy, well looked after house. The house is completely furnished by Nick except for what's inside the bedrooms so complete respect for his stuff is expected.

An ideal housemate would be: employed, easy going, honest, open-minded, have good communication skills, doesn't get offended easily, cleans up after themselves (important), is happy doing their own thing but someone who also loves having a meaningful chat, a laugh and a beer.
