Our Vibe: We're a pretty chill and home-oriented couple. When we're not busy, you'll usually find us relaxing, playing a game together, or tinkering with our cars. Jordan works full-time, and I work part-time while also studying.
Our Hobbies: I'm a huge F1 fan and love to spend my free time crafting. Jordan is big into gaming and working on various projects.
Beyond the basics of paying rent on time, here are the personal qualities that are really important to us:
Communication: We value someone who is willing to talk things out openly instead of letting small issues fester. Whether it's about the noise level, a shared chore, or just what kind of takeaway to get, clear and respectful communication is key to a happy home.
Tidiness and Consideration: This doesn't mean you need to be a minimalist or a cleaning obsessive, but it does mean being considerate of the shared space. Things like immediately cleaning up after cooking, not leaving dishes in the sink for days, and keeping common areas generally neat go a long way.
Balance: We're looking for someone who can be friendly and sociable but also understands and respects the need for personal space and quiet time. We like to chat and hang out, but we also appreciate a flatmate who knows when to close their door and let others have their space.
Ultimately, we want someone who views the flat as a shared home, not just a place to sleep. If you're someone who is thoughtful, self-aware, and happy to pull your weight, you'll be a great fit!
