Available on the 24th of June 2026 for a Female University Student or a fully employed Female Professional 25 years or older, keen for a quiet home for study or relaxing after work. This is a clean, comfortable home you get to share with me and one female (total 3), not a "sharehouse". One bedroom with a king single bed, a desk (with a large screen for your laptop and shared printer), and an office chair. References available from previous home members.

Secure, fully furnished flood-free 3-bedroom townhouse in a quiet street 1.8 km from the University of Queensland, near the Guyatt Park CityCat ferry terminal, with buses nearby. Easy, fast trip to the city or West End (the last photo shows UQ in the background).

Toowong Shopping Centre is one bus stop away. St Lucia (IGA), Taringa, and Indooroopilly shopping centres are also nearby.

King single bed, pillows, linen, summer blanket and winter feather doona provided. You will need your own bathroom towel.

Share - fully equipped kitchen with airfryer, pizza oven, rice cooker, coffee machine, cutlery, utensils, crockery, pots and pans, and quality food containers. Plenty of storage, dining room, lounge, big TV (with Netflix and Amazon), fast internet, front and rear porches, lock-up garage with laundry and washing machine. All quality furniture and appliances. Air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms and the lounge room. There are many plants indoors and on the porches.

I am a quiet, mature, mindful male PhD student, casual academic and researcher at the University of Queensland. I'm an environmentalist with a background in business management. My research is about climate change education for business leaders.

I am friendly and appreciate my privacy, as I will respect yours. I work from home sometimes. I don't smoke or drink alcohol.

I enjoy sharing with and learning from people from different cultures. This has included flatmates from eight different countries over the past few years. My previous fabulous home members have been mostly PhD and Masters students from UQ who have now returned to their own countries and remain good friends. One of my current fabulous home members will complete her degree in June and return home. The other home member started her PhD at UQ bout 6 months ago.

House Rules - Respect fellow house members’ need for sleep, quiet study and a clean, tidy, easy-to-live-in home. No smoking. Keep your own space clean and tidy. Your bathroom (shared with one other female) must be left clean and tidy after every use. Our kitchen must be left clean after every meal. No dirty plates in the sink! Clean, dry and put away your cups, plates and cooking utensils after your meals. Shared weekly cleaning of all shared spaces, including vacuuming of all floors and thorough cleaning of the kitchen and refrigerator, and your bathroom (as per roster agreed with the other female flatmate). This is an environmentally friendly home. This includes minimising electricity use by turning off lights when not in the room, adjusting your clothing or blanket before using air conditioning for cooling or heating. Turn off appliances at the wall when not in use, e.g., TV and Washing machine. Use the recycling and compost bins. I take the compost to the community garden, and they make new soil. Please report any damage or problems with the house immediately, so they can be fixed. Replace anything you damage. Quiet time is between 10 pm and 6:30 am; always be respectfully quiet at all times. Your guests are welcome, but this is not a party house.
