Home Description
Description of the home
Hello,
I'm living alone in a house (Stafford area) that would be quite an uncomfortable squeeze for three people. but should be pretty roomy for two (Two private rooms to rent to you) . It looks very much the part of a run down old house from the outside, but the interior has all been renovated recently and is pretty nice. I have a cat and she is the most social creature towards humans while being an utter cow to other pets so I would prefer for the place to stay a one pet household, for the sake of our sanity.
There is plenty of opportunity for personalising as it's a private rental arrangement, no REA's. Good for a gardener for sure, but really you can hang things without feeling the dread of ridiculous rental rules hanging over your head. I'm situated on a nice hill with city views even. The street is a bit of a popular rat run but quiet outside of the school rush while being not so far out of the city or from shops. It's a single driveway so we can share off street parking if we want the hassle of double parking, else settle it between us.
The highlights of the place are definitely the nice new kitchen, fresh coat of paint, and new fixtures all through the interior. As well as the total amount of space and freedom from REA ridiculousness.
The lowlights in return are having an outside laundry below the house on a concrete slab as well as having to share the single bathroom.

Bills and expenses
I like to split all bills evenly, It's just internet and power (combined gas and electric). Internet is $99/mo unlimited 100/40 so $49.50/month and power? Well I don't think I can estimate how bad that's going to get at the moment. It's been around $330 for the whole house per quarter up until the recent madness.

I do like having friends over for the occasional board games and food but I'm not a huge entertainer. I'm down for a chat about pretty much anything though. In coming back to living with flatmates I'm looking to find people I can share space with who are down to chat but appreciate downtime too. Transgender people are welcome and safe here.
