Details
This is a bright and comfortable room with lovely natural light and direct access to a balcony with a peaceful, leafy outlook. The balcony runs along both bedrooms and is shared, offering a nice spot to get fresh air or enjoy a quiet moment outside.
The room is currently furnished, but I am happy to remove or adjust furniture if you prefer to bring your own.
You are welcome to personalise the space to make it feel like home. If you would like to change curtains, add your own bed, rugs, or decor, that is absolutely fine. The goal is for you to feel comfortable and settled in your own space.

Home Description

Description of the home

The home is located in Wishart in a quiet crescent, creating a peaceful and private atmosphere while still being very close to bus stops, shopping centres, and all essential amenities.
It’s a spacious four-bedroom house with a large backyard and plenty of greenery. The outdoor area offers a relaxed setting with room to enjoy the fresh air or unwind at the end of the day. While it’s generally a calm household, the backyard has space for occasional shared meals or relaxed outdoor time.
Inside, the house has good natural airflow and a comfortable, easygoing feel. Shared spaces include the kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas, all designed for practical, respectful co-living.

There are pet birds and a cat in the home, so being comfortable with animals is important.
Overall, it’s a relaxed, leafy, and grounded home environment suited to someone who enjoys a calm space with a bit of personality.
This House is also neurodivergent friendly 🙂

About occupants
I live with my beautiful sidekicks, my birds and my cat, so you would need to be pet friendly.
I am looking for someone easygoing and chilled. Someone who has their own life, whether working, studying or generally active during the day, who enjoys a friendly chat now and then but also values private time and personal space.
I am friendly, respectful and relaxed. I enjoy good food, the rare occasional drink, and a calm home environment.
I would love to share the house with someone who sees it as a home, not just a place to crash.
Compatible people
First and foremost you must like pets.
I’m easygoing, creative, and fairly independent. I value a calm home where everyone has their own space but can also share a conversation, a meal, or even a drink now and then if it feels natural. I respect privacy and autonomy and appreciate living with someone who has their own life, routine, and interests.
I’m looking for a working or studying flatmate aged 23 and over who is reliable and self sufficient. Someone who is friendly, relaxed, communicates openly, and contributes fairly to shared living.
You do not need to have everything perfectly figured out. What matters most is that you are steady, respectful, and have something meaningful going on in your life. Independence, consideration, and a good vibe in the home are important qualities here.
Description of pets
I have one Gala Peaches and a cockatoo Charlie. Peaches is around 10 years old and Charlie is 26. They are generally easygoing and spend most of their time doing their own thing. Like most birds, they have a short afternoon witching hour, but it is not constant and does not go on for long.
I also have a rescue cat who is gentle and independent. She tends to disappear into her own little world during the day and mostly keeps to herself. She is calm, well behaved, and very sweet.
All pets are well cared for and part of the home, so being comfortable around animals is important.
