Description of the home

Master room available for a single occupant at Gabba Central, directly across from The Gabba Stadium. The room is a large 3.7m x 3.1m master bedroom with your own private ensuite, air-conditioning, built-in wardrobe and direct balcony access. It gets great sunlight and ventilation, and the unit has timber floors throughout, so it’s easy to keep clean. A double bed and two small desks are already in the room, but furniture can be provided or adjusted if needed.

Rent is $410 per week, including all bills and unlimited internet. Bond is two weeks, minimum stay is two months, and we just ask for two weeks’ notice before moving out. If you stay for three months or longer, we offer a $10/week discount.

The building is extremely convenient, with Coles, cafés, a bakery, a Korean chicken shop, a Korean café, a liquor store, a post office and a gym all located on the ground floor. There are also two pools, two small gyms, a sauna and BBQ areas available for residents. The Woolloongabba bus stop is only a three-minute walk away, making it a quick 12-minute bus ride or five-minute drive into the city. Taxi rides usually cost just the base fare, and scooter passes are also available nearby.

The unit is a 2 bed, 2 bath layout with no shared living room, so you’ll be living with two other housemates in their 20s. We’d prefer a student around a similar age or someone in their early 30s working part- or full-time. We don’t micromanage cleaning — as long as shared spaces are kept tidy, that’s enough.
