Description of the home
This elevated, free standing home in Flynn offers spacious, open plan living areas flooded with natural light. The sunny lounge flows into a well equipped kitchen and dining area, creating a bright, comfortable and welcoming shared space. The home includes heating and air conditioning in the main living area, a dishwasher, internal laundry, parking and plenty of storage.
Outside, the beautifully manicured grounds include a secluded “secret garden” at the rear. A front-facing balcony and private side deck provide lovely spaces to relax, entertain or enjoy a barbecue.
You will have the master queen size bedroom (width 3333mm x 3704mm) with an additional ensuite containing shower, toilet, vanity etc. Plenty of storage with a double built-in wardrobe, two windows for good ventilation situated at the rear of the house overlooking the rear garden.
The carpet is currently being replaced, and I am still waiting for confirmation on the completion date.
Happy to provide a double bed base, bedside tables, and a heater if required.
A bus stop is just a two-minute walk away, with routes 40 and 41 connecting to Belconnen Interchange and rapid bus services. Charnwood and Melba shops are nearby, offering supermarkets, a chemist, medical services, a post office, cafés, restaurants and takeaway options, along with a gym and petrol station at Charnwood. Westfield Belconnen and the wider Belconnen Town Centre one of Canberra’s major satellite hubs are approximately 6.6 kilometres away.
The home has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere while remaining conveniently close to public transport, shopping and everyday amenities.

Bills and expenses
Electricity, gas and water bills are split equally among housemates each quarter. Internet costs are split equally each month.

This is not a party house, so a person who does not use drugs or drink excessively would be the best fit, although an occasional wine and cheese evening is very welcome, especially if you’re happy to share!
