Description of the home

Hi my name is Wendy - I have a room to rent in our home which will suit a student. I am a 52 year old woman and have beautiful cats named Elijah and Nicklaus.

I have hosted students (including international students) and boarders for more than 5 years so I am used to opening my home up!! I would love to hear from you.

I provide students with orientation to Canberra and its culture, assist students to settle into Canberra life and offer a family-oriented atmosphere in my home.

My home is located on the Belconnen Golf course area is peaceful and picturesque and my neighbours' are friendly, helpful and sociable. There is visitor parking in the street.

The property is a 10-minute walk to Holt shops, a 20–30-minute walk from Kippax and there are bus stops close by.

I am currently hosting an international student from Brazil (male 21 years old) who is studying Mathematics at ANU. He is returning to Brazil 7 December 2023.

I work full-time for the Australian Government Department of Education in International Division.

I subscribe to Netflix and a basic Foxtel package if you like watching flicks.
