ROOMS FOR RENT IN TROPICAL 3 BEDROOM HOUSE IN NIGHTCLIFF. Rooms look out over tropical garden. Have air-con in all bedrooms and lounge room, built in wardrobe and unlimited wi-fi. Beds included if needed. House is pretty well furnished but can make space for other communal furniture. Large private tropical yard with a salt water pool, fully fenced. 2 x driveways, so off street parking and lockable garage (for shared storage and workshop/art space).

Short walk to Nightcliff Foreshore/Jetty and Woolworths.

Current couple living here are in the process of moving interstate, so there is also a large room with an en-suite for rent (not pictured as yet). Must like princess wags (the dogs) as she runs the household. Also have 2 free ranging chickens and a bush chook that thinks he’s a chicken. Pricing listed is for a single person in each room. Am open to a couple in the large en-suite room (rent would be increased/negotiated) and having the smaller room as a spare room for guests. Smaller room available now, large room available start of September.

About occupants
I am an open minded 35 year old woman. I’m quite social and would love awesome people that I get along well with to move in. Enjoy a drink after work but also relish my downtime. Work 4-5 days a week in a not for profit aboriginal health organising and study Nursing and an Aboriginal language. House is mostly quiet and tidy, with the occasional impromptu evening of friends over for drinks/dinner parties.
Compatible people
Prefer working person over 25 year olds & longer term renters (ideally be willing to go on the lease for 6 months). MUST LOVE DOGS 😌. Also open to people with a dog as long as the dog is chicken friendly and gets along with my dog. Friendly, kind, open minded. Previous housemates have shared food expenses and eaten together but happy to keep this seperate if preferred. People moving in must be willing to help maintain yard and pool.
Description of pets
Zeetah is my dog - Staffy x Ridgeback. She is very friendly, can be vocal in the afternoons when all the other dogs on the street are having their afternoon pow wow.
There are 2 x free range chickens - queen layteefa & lady goog goog. They are quite friendly and have visiting wild scrub hens as pals.
