Hi all! I have a 3 bedroom house, owner occupier. It's older and has a lot of charm but needs an update so I'm renovating the place. Its a great house, with just the kitchen and bathroom that need the work done. Both are perfectly usable, but tbh...not pretty right now
The bedrooms are freshly painted pure white, and you're welcome to pick your own colour if you'd like one of the rooms.
Gas heating in the lounge and dining areas. A very funky/old bathroom and separate toilet. These will both be renovated and updated, along with the kitchen in the next year.
I totally understand any renovations will impact your stay. The rent reflects the current state of the property, and will be reduced further during periods that any major renos take place.
Plenty of storage available in the bedrooms, shed and under the house. 5 minutes drive from the CBD, and 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket.

Bills and expenses
Electricity, internet and gas come in monthly. Water is quarterly. Landlord obligations apply as with any other rental. Looking to get solar installed which will cut down the leccy.

Im studying a masters of Advanced Clinical Nursing, and a Diploma of Paramedicine this year, so I'm pretty flat out.
My girlfriend lives in Melbourne so I head over there whenever I can, also love to head to Torquay for fish and chips, and work on the house in my spare time.
The house as it is has a lot of charm, but it certainly is in a process of renovation so you'd have to be comfy with that. I'm extremely aware of any concerns you'd have about this, and would work with you to make sure the impact is minimised.
