A minty green 3 bedroom house in short walking distance to the Lara Lakes Reserve. 2 living/lounge areas; one used as a TV room, the other at the back of the house is wonderfully warm and large enough for yoga or accommodating impromptu awkward dance moves. Decent-sized back yard with the prospect of housing (no more than) 4 chickens, and many raised vegie beds.

Location stats: 5 minutes walk to bus stops; 5 minutes drive to Lara train station and main shopping area; easy access to the M1, 20 minutes drive to Geelong. For the nature-lovers we are 7 minutes drive to Serendip Sanctuary and 10 minutes drive to the You Yangs Regional Park.

About occupants
Hi I'm Nadia. My 9-to-5 is planting trees 7-to-3, which I also sometimes do in my spare time, and the odd gardening job on the side. I have a working/study background in environmental conservation, horticulture and gardening, children's services and retail. Some of my interests and hobbies are reading, pottering around with plants, birdwatching, collecting crystals/feathers/bones/pine cones/seashells, outdoor exploring and movies.

Hello I'm Luke, I spend my days mostly at home, but I love getting out into the sun for a walk or adventure. I'm unemployed at the moment but have a background in garden maintenance, painting and general labouring. Some interests of mine include: Reading, meditation/self development, outdoor adventures, permaculture/gardening and movies.

Hi, I'm Fatso. I'm fat. I'm also athletic. I'm quieter than my brother, Mousey, and I'm also handsomer. I like eating hay, being outside and practising meditation.
Hi, I'm Mousey. I'm fit, lean, active and brave. I bubble, squeak and wheek a lot. I like to annoy by brother, Fatso. I love eating celery and playing outside and I hope to get a girlfriend someday.

We are a generally quiet household; non-smoking, non-drinking, minimal chemical/fragrance use (we have chemical sensitivities to strong synthetic scents). We are hoping to downshift and retrofit where we can to live a more eco-conscious, resilient lifestyle.
Compatible people
Reliability, respectfulness, tidiness, open communicator, open minded, minimal drama.
We would love to hear from you if you have an interest in permaculture, growing your own food, or similar values.
