This quiet 2 bedroom ground floor duplex located on a canal - handy to the beach, the Casino, Pacific Fair, The Q Centre, Robina, Southport Park Shopping & Australia Fair. – Has easy Bus transport access too . There are two living areas which means that there is room to move (we aren’t cramped into one living area) and ceiling fans. It has lots of cupboard space in the bathroom and a well equipped kitchen - YOU EVEN HAVE YOUR OWN FRIDGE AND DONT HAVE TO SHARE THIS. ALSO A TV IN YOUR BEDROOM.

You would only be sharing with one person, me, an older semi-retired woman and I travel a lot so you would have the unit to yourself for a lot of the time. If you want a party house, then this is not for you but if however, want a peaceful lifestyle then you could take a look here and possibly love it like I do. I will supply a double bed, bed linen, chest of drawers etc. We will clean the common areas of the unit like the lounge rooms, kitchen and bathroom once a week on a rotational basis and we also look after our own room. Friends will not stay the night when I am there unless it is agreed beforehand because it strains the bathroom facilities.

Bills and expenses

If you want the internet there is a connection and you can get it. I Charge $20 per week extra with the rent and this goes into an Electricity accumulation account that accrues and when the electricity bill comes in, your portion of the bill will be deducted out of this accumulation account and a new balance will be seen. And of course you will see the bill and rental ledger.

Hi I am Vera and am a very happy, semi retired over 60's real estate agent and live between Hobart Tasmania and the Gold Coast because my family lives here and its easier for me to visit rather than my family uproot kids and come and visit me.
I am very private, Love to watch netflix movies, read, go to the heated pool for exercise, ride my bike particularly on the beachfront. I don't hold grudges - if someone upsets me I usually tell them and deal with it at the time and expect the same from my housemate if I inadvertently upset them. I don't smoke or drink (socially only) or do drugs and won’t have drugs in the house. I am a bit of an environmentalist and believe that we all need to look after the earth - this is our home, so I always use natural cleaning products and limit my use of plastic bags. I am kind and love to help people and because of this sometimes I can be seen as an easy touch. Also I love sharing my food because i love to cook so often you will get a free meal if you want. Love to hear people's stories - the best way to know someone is to talk to them so if you are curious to see if we hit it off come and talk to me. My current housemate is leaving because he doesnt like the cleaning roster that i have created to keep the common living areas clean and takes about 30 mins a week to do and thats okay.
