Hey, I'm Meiko, working as a designer in the film industry. I moved up to Queensland (from Sydney) a couple of years ago and quickly decided to make the GC home - the warmer weather, the beaches and the laid-back lifestyle are incredible. I love the outdoors, both the mountains and the ocean, keeping active and social but definitely need my down time too when work is busy!

I am a clean person so expect the same in a housemate. Respect and consideration for one another is also really important to me. My work hours can often be quite long so I'm not always around and I can travel a bit for work too but I am always up for a conversation over coffee, wine or a meal when I'm at home and enjoy having friends over for games or a movie night in too. My home is my sanctuary. I like to keep it beautiful and you'll notice I'm a bit of a green thumb so if you are too or can pitch in with watering the plants every now and then I'd be so grateful!
