Home Description

Description of the home

Perfect for a student.
We are located in an estate that has one road in, and the same road out; so the immediate area is very quiet. There is a small lake to walk around to the north, and Lake Orr to the east. The Easy T Centre is a 5 min walk; the Town Centre is a 5 min drive; and Bond University is a 5 min drive/25 min walk. Varsity train station is the closest one to us; and it takes 5 mins to drive to the freeway. So we are quite central and it's very convenient I find.
The living areas in the house are very spacious and have lots of natural light. There is a backyard with a day bed and a veggie garden. The room for rent has a common wall with the garage and laundry.

About the occupants
Hi, I'm Kate, 42 year old female, single Mother of 1 child (10 months old). I am just returning to work as a nutritionist and will most likely be working outside the home 1 day per week, with a carer coming to the house to look after my son.
We are very active, and enjoy walks every morning. My son has two sleeps per day at home, though we like to go to activities and groups when he is awake.
I love cooking, and health and nature. We are a conscious household, which means we are respectful, and communicate well. There is no TV, though don't mind one in the room our housemate is staying in. We are a low tox home, so use natural products for cleaning, washing up and in the laundry (these can be shared).
We like to have fun, and are both happy and content.
Compatible people
We would like to live with someone who is focused and passionate about life; who is conscious of living a natural and harmonious life; who holds love and positivity within their hearts. Needs to be warm with children and aware of making too much noise. We are OK to live separate lives and not be on top of one another. Living with a baby is not a common sharehouse situation so you would need to be the right fit for us.
