Description of the home

This is a 3 bedroom apartment in a gated complex, so very secure. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, the one on offer has you own bathroom/toilet. There is a 3rd toilet in the down stairs laundry. Your bedroom can be offered with or without bed frame (no mattress), but you will need your own linen etc. The apartment is furnished with most normal furniture, but you are welcome to bring yours too! There is an aircon in the main living area, fans is all rooms. The swimming pool is large, small gym, with BBQ's and small recreation room in the pool area. The people living here are very friendly, and sometimes have complex bbq's.

The Complex is within walking distance to Coles/Woolworths shopping Centres, and multiple other shopping areas within a 5k radius. The Wattle Hotel is also within walking distance, and has a great Restaurant and bottle shop. Access to the M1 is minutes away, North Gold Coast beaches 30 minutes away, and Brisbane is 40 minutes drive. Helensvale or Coomera train stations within 10 minutes drive. The area is also serviced by a regular Bus Service.

PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A TYPICAL TOWNHOUSE, ALL THREE BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS ARE UPSTAIRS, SO YOU WILL NEED TO NEGOTIATE 15 SMALL STEPS TO THE UPPER FLOOR.

About occupants
I am the only occupant, and have been living here for 3 years. I am a single mature age gent, non smoking (you should be to), as the lease has a non smoking clause for anyone on the premises. I operate a small wine tour business, and so not usually home during the days. I do use the complex gym when not working. I do use the kitchen to cook, so you would be sharing the times in the kitchen as normal. I am ex Airforce, so am somewhat social, and do enjoy a Red wine. I have just resigned a 12 month lease, so accommodation is guaranteed for at least for another 12 months.

My flatmate needs to be preferably a mature age female (will consider mature age male too), (having moved on with personal lifestyle complexities!), just looking for a compatable flatmate, who likes the occasional chat/red wine/drink, but operates their lives privately. Not interested in house parties at all as I do enjoy peace and quiet at night. While the use of the unit is shared, I would not expect the flatmate to have friends stay more than the occasional overnight, as experience tells me it can turn into a more permanent arrangement! You will need to be employed, or have proof of income to pay rent, and have references from a current employer/business acquantance/JP etc, to be considered. The third bedroom is offered for sole use of belongings, and the garage does have space for storage. The unit has 3 parking spaces, and there is ample off street parking for tenants/guests.
