The bedroom is 2.7m x 3.2m and can fit a queen sized bed, has a built in desk and built in wardrobe. There is also room for an additional piece of furniture such as a dresser.

We have two living spaces (one downstairs and one upstairs).

We have additional storage under the stairs and in the garage. Unfortunately there is only space for one car in the garage which is already taken.
There is ample all-day on-street parking.

Description of the home

We love our townhouse as it is a modern light filled space with multiple levels and tonnes of space. It has ample storage and a large seperate laundry. The house has 2 bathrooms (one ensuite and one main bathroom). There is also a powder room downstairs.

We are in a friendly neighbourhood with great neighbours. We are a short stroll to the Maribyrnong river, cafes, IGA, parks and a bus stop just around the corner.

We have a low maintenance front and backyard and undercover area out the back with down lights and ceiling fans. It is a great area for entertaining complete with a weber BBQ and pizza oven! The house is completely furnished with nice furniture (excluding the bedroom advertised). Floorboards throughout with carpet in bedrooms. The house includes ducted heating and cooling in living areas and bedrooms.

We have all the tv stream programs you can name including Foxtel, Netflix, Stan, Disney+, prime etc.

Ideally we are looking for another male as you would be sharing a bathroom with 2 other males, however, we will still consider all genders :)

Transport:
We are situated between Essendon and Moonee Ponds Stations - both being roughly a 25-30 minute walk or a short bus trip to either.
There is a bus stop just 150 metres from our house and another one on Buckley St (Essendon) which is 700 metres from our house.

About the occupants
Hi future housemate,

We are located in Aberfeldie in a modern townhouse just a short stroll to the Maribyrnong river.

We are 3 friendly professional males ageing from 29-32 who enjoy each other's company. A typical Friday night for us will be watching a movie together or having a glass of wine while getting involved in an intensive game of monopoly or Uno. We enjoy going out for dinner and drinks together on occasion. As much as we enjoy each others company, we also respect each others privacy. We love to entertain so quite often our friends come over for dinner/drinks/movies. We are quite social so often we may be out and about somewhere on the weekends, although at times we also enjoy the occasional lazy day at home.
We are tidy and all participate in the housework, although we are not over the top and understand that the house cannot be spotless all day everyday.

Housemate 1 - Sam:
Sam (32 years) grew up in country NSW and moved to Melbourne in 2015. He works full-time in the disability sector and travels to-and-from work to Box Hill each weekday, although will work from home 2 days per week. He enjoys trying to keep fit and healthy and trains at BFT. Sam is a sassy joker who is outgoing and enjoys a laugh. Sam enjoys music, movies, travel, wine, interior design, road trips, camping, socialising, and both going out and staying in. Sam also travels back home to country NSW throughout the year to visit family, and sometimes they visit Melbourne and stay with us.

Housemate 2 - Damien:
Damien (29 years) also grew up in the country and recently moved in with us in January 2023.
Damien recently started working for metro trains doing shift work. When Damien is not working he is usually out riding his motor bike and exploring Melbourne.
He enjoys playing the Xbox, going for walks and having a glass of red on the sofa on a Friday night catching up on TV series.

Housemate 3 - Thomas:
Tom (31 years) works full-time for an energy company in the city, he too will work a couple of days from home. He is a jet-setter and always off on a Euro adventure every year. He is a story teller and will have you engaged in every convo. Tom will always know how to make you laugh and is also a fan of a glass of wine on a Friday night with some throw back tunes. Tom also enjoys hitting the gym.

We are looking for someone who likes to have fun and will bring positive energy to the house. As we like to spend time with each other it would be great if you could join in too; however, we also respect privacy and space :)

**Please note: Monthly rent is $3,846 paid to the real estate on the 3rd of every month (we have it on direct debit to come out 4 days before this date to allow for any delays). Your share will be $900.00 per month. Bond has been split between 4 of us and is a total of $3,540.00, and therefore your share of bond will be $885 payable to our fourth housemate who is moving out**

Ideally we would like someone to move in by the 3rd of July so they can jump on the next rent cycle.
