I was a professional engineer, who switched careers to become an Indie filmmaker (writer/director/producer) in my fifties, I live with my two grandchildren, a female (23) and a male (21) who are both working,

We are easy-going laid back people, with 'live and let live' principles.

The room on offer is the 4th bedroom in a single-story house in a quiet leafy street house, and comes with its own private bathroom (shower, bath, toilet) see photos. It's a quiet home, not into loud music.

The rent for the room is $265 and includes Broadband internet, gas, water and electric costs., so there is no more to pay. There is gas ducted heating, a gas cooker and an electric stove. You will have your own kitchen storage space.

For an additional $35, there is an extra and separate office room, with office table, chair and storage space, tall set of drawers etc. Ideal if you are an artist, plenty of room for painting easel.

Frequent buses to Blackburn station or it's a 15 min walk to the station through pleasant surroundings, Buses also to Forest Hill shopping centre close by and Safeway supermarket and other street stores, cafes , bakery etc are within 5-7 minutes walk from house.

Looking for someone. preferably female, interested in longer term, six months plus.
