Description of the home

Hi potential future housemates. Before going into describing my home could I please ask that only seriously interested people apply. I have very little time to spare at the moment but am excited to meet anyone who is really very interested instead of just "testing the waters". Many thanks and looking forward to meeting you :)

I have a very large bedrooms available in my home for a new fab housemate. This house is a beautifully restored and renovated period home located only a 5-10 minute walk from Box Hill Central and Box Hill Train Station. Our home has large rooms and high ceilings with pine floorboards.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel cooking appliances and gas stove, opening up to a magnificent backyard to laze away the summer afternoons. Fully furnished (not the bedrooms) with everything anyone could possibly need.

The bedrooms are 4 x 4.4m in size and can accommodate anything up to a king size bed with plenty of space for all other bedroom furnishings. It is the front living area on the floor plan.

I have a chest of drawers and a couple of cupboards spare and a nice wooden table if you might need some furnishings.

There is also a brightly lit sun-room which we love to use as a quiet reading spot and the lounge/movie room has a 75" TV for movie nights in.

Looking for new housemate for the next 3 months until the end of lease (18 July 2026).

Rent is as per above listing for the bedroom - to be paid on the 17th of each month, plus bills (gas/electricity/water/internet) all split equally. Internet will always be $23/month each and is Optus 5G.

Available from NOW (can move in that weekend).

Gas, Electricity, Water - all split evenly as they come in. Electricity monthly, gas every two months and water quarterly.
