Looking for one other person to fill the other room in a 2bed 2bath apartment in Carlton North in Rathdowne St near Princes St. super close to Lygon St and Brunswick St in Fitzroy. Ask me for a vid walkthrough as the pics dont do it justice!
🏘 The tea 🏘
- Rent is $200/wk or $869/month - Bond is 1 month's rent.
- I've signed a 6 month lease with opportunity to extend.
- Your bedroom will be carpeted, fully furnished with queen bed, desk and mirrored BIR.
- Your own private bathroom!
- Im in the master bedroom with ensuite atm, and if you like you can have that for $220 instead.
- We also would have a balcony. There's also a common rooftop space in the building with amazing views of Melb, a full kitchen and entertaining space.
- The rest of the apartment has floorboards, half furnished- comes with fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. I'm just setting it up so I am missing a couch and decor. If you've got them bonus points as I can't wait to make this space more homey
- I will be moving in on Oct 1, I'm happy to wait a lil bit for a housemate but the sooner the better. If you'd like to see the apartment before then, there's nobody living there atm so I can arrange an inspection legally 🙂
📍 Location / Accessibility 📍
- 7th floor - there is a lift, and there is also wheelchair access.
- Bus stop 2 min walk away (250,251) - 10mins into the city, Tram stop 6 min walk (1,6) 15-20mins into the city
- 8 mins walk to Woolies and on the way is Green Man's Arms for a cheeky pint lol
- 10 mins walk to Brunswick St in Fitzroy (Boys and Girls run, all day erryday???? 15min walk to Naked for Satan!)
- Not 100% sure about car park, but I can ask if you can apply for a permit. There are 2P/4P on-street parking around for certain times.

- I work Full time from home atm, and sometimes I volunteer at an animal shelter on the weekends.
- I am house trained and respect common areas- I want to avoid cleaning rosters but just going by common sense, taking initiative and cleaning as we go.
- I am an introvert disguised as an ambivert. I do like to keep to myself but its a big priority for me to create a home, and build a friendship and a bond with my housemate. I think a good balance is nice.

- 🍷 Sharing dinner and a vino every now and again
- 🕺 Learning choreography to High School Musical dances
- 👩🎤 Embarrassing myself doing said dances in karaoke bars
- ✊ Someone who is left-leaning, and who cares about social justice.
- 🌈 LGBTQIA+ Preferred, or an active ally not only to queer people but all those who are marginalised. No swerfing and terfing.
- Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable living with cisgendered men, if you are one and you think this home is for you, let me know a bit more about you and we will see if we gel.
- 🌱 Vegan preferred. I'm open to non-vegans but I would like a judgement free, respectful household
