Description of the home
A bedroom in our amazing Carlton sharehouse is available!
This place is in an incredible location - a quiet street right in-between the University of Melbourne and the section of Lygon Street known as Melbourne's "Little Italy" with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and a mall with a supermarket all close nearby. A 5 minute walk away from Princes Park, 10-15 minute walk to Fitzroy and 15-20 minute walk to the CBD. There's a tram stop just a few doors down from us with multiple trams going north through Brunswick and south through the CBD, and just past that is a bus stop with buses going east through Fitzroy.
We live in a 5 bedroom townhouse that is much larger than other properties in this location. It's a classical Victorian terrace house with traditional facade and decorations. It has 2 toilets downstairs and a newly-renovated shower upstairs. The lounge has both a dining area and a living area with home theatre system. The backyard looks very pretty with a vine wall and fairy lights and has a fruit garden, BBQ and lots of entertaining areas. Behind there are 2 off-street parking spaces which are currently both available, as is an on-street parking permit ($150/year).
The room will be on a month-to-month sublease. Bond ($1,425) is due in advance to confirm your lease.
