HOUSE: 2-storey with large heated pool, a nice backyard with couches, heater, string lights, palm trees and beautiful plants. Large kitchen, Living room with TV, dining room, laundry, double garage. Lots of natural light, fully furnished with all the appliances you might need, ducted heating, ceiling fans/airconditioning in common areas, floorboards and soft carpet, fast NBN, very well looked after home.

AVAILABLE FOR RENT FOR TWO PEOPLE: two bedrooms (extra large upstairs and a medium size downstairs), study with 3-5 built-in workspaces (whole space on request or shared with one more resident), separate loungeroom (3x4m) with bay window and bathroom (shower and toilet) downstairs for private use of tenants of these two rooms plus access to a larger upstairs bathroom (shower, bath, toilet) shared with one female. You can also set up your own outdoor space on the covered decked porch. Further two large storage closets with shelves downstairs for your full use, more storage space in the garage if needed (not enough to store furniture, but some boxes will be fine).

PARKING:
One space is available in a two-car remote-controlled garage, two more spaces in the driveway plus street parking.

AREA:
Truly amazing, close to the beach, riverside walks, shops, transport, even the airport Skybus stops nearby.
- 200m to Carrum station, Aldi supermarket, Post office, cafes, pharmacy, GPs, local shops. 
More shops are a 4 min drive.
- 350m to Carrum beach (amazing sunsets), very clean and lovely beach with a long boardwalk, barbeques, surf life savers club with facilities, several nice cafes. 
Sunsets here are something!
- 400m to Patterson River boardwalk and park with a running track, barbecues, fishing.

Bills and expenses

Bills are included in rent and cover water, gas, electricity, internet, pool maintenance.
I usually have a professional cleaner come fortnightly/monthly. We can either split the cost of common areas cleaning or clean them in turns.
Consumables (cleaning products, house maintenance related expenses) - shared equally.

About occupants
You'll be sharing with two females. I am a 38y.o. professional, working full-time in Strategy/IT consulting. I currently work from home most days (1-2 days a week from the office). I take great care of my home, as you can see from the photos. When I’m not working I’m taking my dog for a walk, going to the gym, catching up with friends or spending time with my teenage daughter who is the second resident. She is usually at school or out with friends, when she is at home, she’s usually hibernating in her room talking to friends or she might be trying out a new recipe (if we are lucky!).

The other "housemate" is a very smart Canadian Retriever, who is well-behaved 5 yo dog, but could get cheeky and steal an occasional sandwich or a sock if you're not paying attention. Loving animals is a must for our home, but, unfortunately, no other pets can be here, as he doesn’t get along well with other dogs and has a strong prey drive for other small animals.


I am happy to share an occasional meal, or have a wine and a chat or watch a movie together if you like, but I also love my space and respect other people’s space too. There is plenty of room in the house to get privacy (it is also very well sound insulated).

I keep my home looking well, clean and tidy, so it is an enjoyable, relaxing space to live.

I'm on the lookout for two housemates (no couples, sorry) who bring a mature and thoughtful approach to shared living. You would be someone who values beautiful peaceful home environment, respects not just the space we'll share but also our neighbours' peace. If you have a soft spot for animals and are securely employed, you'll fit right in. I believe in creating a friendly and welcoming home environment where we can both feel comfortable and at ease.
Description of pets
My furry friend is a Canadian retriever (think a small golden retriever with the brain of an Aussie shepherd). He is well-trained, knows a bunch of tricks and is a very good communicator. He will get initially excited about a new person, bring you his toys, howl hellos and expect a belly rub, but on a regular day, he is very chill, quiet and just wants to sleep, eat swim or have his back scratched.
