THE LOCATION - We are SO close to Southland Station – a 5min walk & you are on the train. This also means Southland is a quick walk (not too close but close enough for fantastic convenience). Aldi & Dan Murphy’s are a short drive down the road & there are plenty of cafés & restaurants in the vicinity. Easy access to the city yet lifestyle away from the concrete jungle only a 5min drive from Sandringham beach.
THE HOUSE - It is a share house in that we share the kitchen (recently renovated with Smeg appliances & dishwasher + brand new fridge.) Adjoining the kitchen is a dining area with a large square Tassie Oak dining table and 8 chairs.
The laundry is brand new & has washing machine & heat pump dryer installed (along with a freestanding undercover outdoor clothesline).
There is a separate toilet (also brand new).
The bathroom will be shared by the occupants of the 2 downstairs bedrooms only and has been freshly painted and updated. Contains a shower – no bath.
The classy looking downstairs loungeroom is fully furnished and also renovated. At the front of the house there’s an east facing deck which also gets the north sun and will be a great place for the downstairs occupants to have a private outdoor entertaining area.
The house sits on a large block with mostly native garden but plenty of opportunity for creating new spaces & if you are into growing veggies or herbs there is an abundance of space. The evenings are pretty special in our neighbourhood. It is peaceful with lots of birds and trees.
The house & shed are full so there isn’t much room for under cover storage but if you have a bike or surfboard, golf clubs etc. we can accommodate these things. Permit parking for 2 cars is available for the street in front.
We will require you to sign a lease with us and pay $1000 bond + 1 month’s rent up front – not negotiable.

George (21) is an electrician. He goes to bed early during the week, gets up early for work and can always be found working on something around the house or at someone else’s place. Loves the outdoors, cars, has just started playing footy and is often heading for a dip in the ocean, which is so close by, enjoys paddle boarding, jumping off piers etc. He always has plans to build something – the next one is a rugged style home gym in the shed.
Henry and George are brothers, whose rooms are upstairs where we also share a bathroom, toilet living and breakfast areas. Access to upstairs is via an external staircase a few steps from the back door.
Runjhun (24) is a full-time designer working in Cheltenham. Is happy to chat or share a meal with housemates if they want to. Otherwise likes to keep to herself as work and other priorities keep her busy. She likes to hangout with her friends and watch TV/movies She is a respectful and thoughtful person who is looking for a chill and considerate housemate.
You would be sharing the downstairs bathroom and living space with her as Henry and George are upstairs.
