The Household & Who We’re Looking For
We are an eclectic, hard-working crew of full-time professionals and students who all keep busy, productive schedules. The house includes Andy, an architect-builder grinding away to pay down the mortgage; Savvas, a local tiler and maintenance contractor who keeps the house in tip-top shape; Ivy, who is immersed in her music studies, keeps an eye on the house during the day, and shares her well-trained, mess-free dog, Peanut; and Miranda, a brilliant, super-quiet housemate who works two jobs and appreciates her privacy. Between full-time shifts, university, and trades, the house is a grounded, zero-drama sanctuary where everyone respects personal boundaries and routines.

If you are a daydreamer, a full-time couch potato, or looking for a host house for weekend parties, this isn't the spot for you. But if you are a driven full-time worker or university student who is clean, pays rent on time, and wants an honest, peaceful place to recharge, you’ll fit right in. Minimum stay is 6 to 12 months. Non-smokers only, no extra pets, no parties. Free on-street parking is available.

Home Description

Description of the home

The house is a spacious 5-bedroom home set on a very large block of land, offering plenty of space both inside and out. One of its best features is the direct access from the backyard to a beautiful, scenic creek — a real hidden gem that adds a sense of calm and privacy.

The neighbouring properties are similar, which means the entire street and area stay wonderfully quiet. If you’re into fitness or simply enjoy the outdoors, you’ll love the option for morning or afternoon jogs along the creek. And if you ever want a change of scenery, there’s also a well-serviced park nearby for walks, exercise, or just relaxing in green space.

It’s a great spot for anyone who appreciates nature, tranquility, and a bit of extra breathing room away from the city rush.

About occupants
About Me (and the Household)

I’m a full-time working professional in the design and building industry. I value a peaceful home environment, and I’m respectful of shared spaces and others’ privacy.

You’d be sharing the house with me and two other full-time working males. Both are quiet, keep to themselves, and mostly stay in their rooms — which says a lot about how comfortable the rooms are here!

None of us are big cooks, so the kitchen sees mostly reheating and simple, “survival” meals rather than elaborate cooking sessions.

If you’re someone who appreciates a quiet, tidy household with friendly but independent housemates, this could be a great fit for you.
