Details
This bedroom is ideal for one person and offers a bright space in case you love natural light (as i do). The room can fit a king-size bed comfortably and still has additional space to organize personal belongings or add small furniture pieces if needed. It also includes a mirrored closet with good storage space.

The apartment is located on the 15th floor, so the room receives plenty of beautiful natural light throughout the day. It also comes equipped with air conditioning and blackout blinds for extra comfort.

Pets are absolutely welcome, even though I personally do not have any.

I also want to be fully transparent to make sure whoever stays here feels comfortable and happy: in the mornings, some noise from the nearby train can be heard. For most people it is manageable, but if you are extremely sensitive to noise, it may be something to consider. Personally, I sleep with earplugs and have no issues at all, but I believe honesty is important so expectations are clear from the beginning.

Overall, it’s a peaceful, clean, and welcoming space for someone looking to stay longer-term and feel at home.

Please note: this is a lease transfer for one private bedroom, since the current tenant is relocating overseas :( . The new tenant would need to go through the lease transfer/application process.

About occupants
Hi, I’m Astrid, a 36 Yo, PhD researcher. I’m generally calm, clean and respectful, and I really value living in a peaceful and tidy home. My routine can vary depending on my study/workload, but I usually wake up around 7:30 am and go to bed around 10–11 pm.

I enjoy exploring Melbourne, finding new cafés, going for walks and discovering interesting places around the city. I also like meeting people and I’m happy to have a friendly chat or share recommendations, while also respecting privacy and personal space.

At home, I’m quite relaxed and considerate. I keep shared spaces clean, respect other people’s belongings and routines, and appreciate living with someone who is also tidy, respectful and easygoing. I may occasionally play music while getting ready or in the shower, but always in a considerate way and only if the other person feels comfortable.

I’m looking for someone who would enjoy a friendly, calm and respectful shared-home environment.
Compatible people
I’m looking for someone who is clean, respectful, responsible and easygoing. A good flatmate for me is someone who treats the apartment as a shared home, not just a place to sleep, and helps keep common areas tidy after use.

I would love to live with someone who is friendly and open to a chat, but also independent and respectful of personal space. Clear communication is important to me, especially around cleaning, visitors, noise and shared spaces.

The ideal flatmate would be considerate, calm, trustworthy and comfortable living in a peaceful home environment. Someone who enjoys Melbourne, has their own routine, and values kindness, cleanliness and mutual respect would be a great fit.
Description of pets
I don’t have any pets myself, sadly, but I’m happy to consider flatmates with four-legged friends, as long as they are well-behaved, clean, and suitable for apartment living. The owner would be responsible for any pet-related cleaning, damage, or building requirements
