Home Description
Description of the home
Room available 9th May 2026
A large, richly coloured, art-filled (rental) home in South Frankston with generous gardens and a bonus park just beyond the back fence and a bus route at the end of the street. Foot st shops are less than a five minute walk away.
Inside is a classic, non-renovated ’70s setup with plenty of character. The kitchen is fully equipped (just no dishwasher… yet). There are two shared bathrooms – one with a deep bath and the other with a waterfall shower head – plus a separate loo.
The house has a large, comfortable lounge, a separate dining room, and a laundry with a washing machine. The big back porch is a lovely spot to sit with a cuppa and look out over the garden.
The available room is a good size and comes furnished with a gas-lift bed (storage underneath), desk, drawers, and a clothes rack. There’s also a spare room that doubles as a creative/project space or occasional guest room – open to ideas on how it’s used.
Wooden floors and big windows throughout. It’s a solid, cosy house with good heating, split-system air con, and a lovely garden to enjoy.
I already share the space with two cats, so unfortunately no other pets, sorry!

I love good food and cook everything from scratch (coeliac life!), and I’m always happy to share a meal, a cuppa, or the odd film or chat. I enjoy a calm, easy-going home where it’s comfortable to share space and just as easy to enjoy our own personal time.
I’m interested in the world and like to keep up, more or less, with what’s happening, socially, politically, and environmentally. I’ve travelled and lived overseas, and I value openness, kindness, and curiosity about other cultures and ways of life.
When I’m not pottering in the garden or making something, I’m usually winding down with a cup of tea and a cat (or two) nearby. They’re lovely, opinionated creatures, when they want to be, friendly once you get to know them, but not open to new animal friendships, so no additional pets, sorry!
Therefore I am unable to consider other animals.
