Home Description

Description of the home

Each room is a comfortable 3 x 3m, with a built-in wardrobe and super soft, plush carpet. The bedrooms are all north-facing, so they get loads of natural light and feel really bright and airy during the day — but are also installed with premium blackout blinds if you prefer the dark.

The house itself is very modern and spatially orientated, with a gorgeous wood dining table, high-end kitchen appliances and cookware, and a huge 77” LG OLED TV in the living area. If you’re into some entertainment, there’s also a Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 you’re welcome to use. The house isn’t fully furnished, specifically the living room area but that will sorted ideally by EOFY. But for now, the living area is very minimalistic and cosy.

Location-wise, it’s just off Melton Highway, so super easy to get on and off (doesn’t get backed up. It’s about 12 minutes to Watergardens Shopping Centre (and Watergardens Station) and around 10 minutes to Rockbank Station. Because of the location there are multiple ways to get onto the freeway as well, making the commute into the city pretty convenient (around 40 mins with no traffic).

Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable space with a premium feel, but still very relaxed and homely. I am very proud of my house and spent a lot of time curating and building it to be my dream living space. As such I will continue to work hard towards upgrading the space to feel more and more like a home. Hi! I’m looking for easygoing, respectful housemates that I can get along with. A little about me, I (31) work FT in hospitality in the city. I spend most of my time outside of work either catching up on errands (like a boring person), or catching up on TV shows I’ve behind on. I especially love watching movies. I play videos games occasionally (not as frequently as I use to, my consoles mainly collect dust now in my house), and spend the remaining of my time either visiting friends or my parent's place for a free meal. Sometimes it’s a bit harder to do either because I do shift work and I sometimes work the weekends. I’m not a huge party person, and prefer small group gatherings with my friends, chilling playing party games and board games, rather than large social parties. My sister (25) will also be occasionally be crashing here now and then, she works FT in corporate in the city.

I’m looking for roommates who are easygoing, easy going, friendly, conversational but also understands the balance of sharing a home and respecting each other’s space and privacy. Someone who is mainly tidy and considerate of others. Cleanliness and personal hygiene are a big priority for me, so is a roommate with good personal hygiene and cleans up after themselves without having to be told. I’m all for a relaxed, social vibe and you’re more than welcome to have friends over, but it’s not really a party house.
