The room is a large master bedroom, with huge walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with heated towel rack. It is currently furnished with double bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table and shelves in addition to the large walk in wardrobe. We can also provide linen and towels making it ideal for travelers or a couple needing a furnished place.

The rent includes use of a sitting room/study and sunny courtyard directly opposite the bedroom. It’s currently furnished with bookshelf, large screen TV with chromecast.

Syndal train station is less than 5 mins walk fom our door and the journey to Flinders St in the city is 30 mins. Kingsway and The Glen shopping centre with cinemas, restaurants and supermarkets only one stop or 20-25 mins walk away.

We’re also very close to Monash University Clayton Campus, Monash Medical Centre, the Victorian Heart Hospital and Waverley Private.

It’s a lovely, spacious house and fully furnished with almost everything you could need. We have ducted gas heating and evaporative cooling in all rooms, including your bedroom. There are two separate living areas, a large central kitchen, outdoor dining area and large back yard, gardens and veggie patches if you have a green thumb :-)

You can get a permit from the Council for carparking on the street.

Bills and expenses

Utilities of water, gas, electricity and high speed internet are included so no need to worry about those. The only additional is if you would like fortnightly cleaning of your rooms and ensuite bathroom which is an extra $15 per week ($30 per clean).

About the occupants
Hi there, I’m Jodie and my partner is Andrew. We are both professionals working full time. My job is in health policy, usually hybrid working a few days at home and a few days in the office. Andrew is a chef by training and now works in hospitality sales so he also works a mix of from home, in the office and on the road.

We have a reasonably quiet lifestyle, try to exercise most days and eat healthy meals at home. We love spending time with friends and out in nature, as well as seeing live music or theatre when we can.
Compatible people
We are looking for a housemate/s who are respectful, friendly, relaxed, and happy to fit into the household. We don’t mind whether you’d like to be social or prefer to be private. The space is well suited to a couple but it’s not a party house so not somewhere to have lots of guests or be loud late at night during the week.

Given our location the room/s would be perfect for a student, health worker or someone in hospitality.
Description of pets
Bosch is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy who is now 10 months old. He is very friendly and playful but still a little prone to chewing or running off with anything left on the floor. He also has no street/car sense so please be extra careful that he doesn’t get out when opening the front door :-)
