Other information
The room available is bright and super comfy. It’s got a big bay window with sheer curtains, a block-out blind and a window seat that looks out over the front yard—perfect spot to read and relax. There are floorboards, a very comfortable queen bed, and built-in cupboards with shelves along the window wall, so there’s plenty of storage.

There is a third bedroom that is available to be used as an office space if you work from home for an extra $50 a week.

Home Description

Description of the home

My house is a freshly renovated and fully furnished 3-bedroom home with 2 bathrooms and space for 2–3 cars. It’s cosy, clean, and has a great layout, including a front yard and a nice outdoor dining area out the back.

The bus stop is right outside, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to Glenroy Station—easy 30-minute trip into the city. Coles is a 3-minute drive away, with plenty of other shops and restaurants nearby.

There are a few parks and ovals within a short walk, and Merri Creek trail in Coburg is only 10 minutes away by car—my favourite spot for walks and runs.

About occupants
Hey there : )
I’m Jess, a 35-year-old queer woman who owns the home. I work full-time in a primary school and live a pretty active lifestyle—I’ve got a lot of energy, love to exercise, and enjoy being around people. I’m friendly, social, and vegetarian, and I really value a home that feels positive, respectful, and easy-going.
Compatible people
I’m looking for a woman to share the house with—someone queer or queer-friendly, kind, easy-going, and who brings a positive energy to the space. Getting along and having a warm, respectful dynamic at home is really important to me. Cleanliness and tidiness in shared spaces are non-negotiable—I like to keep things feeling calm, comfortable, and cared for.

I’d love to live with someone who’s a good communicator, friendly, and up for the occasional chat or shared dinner. Having a friend or two over from time to time is totally welcome, but this isn’t a party house—more of a relaxed and homely vibe.
