🌿 Room Available in Our Unique Kensington Sharehouse – $280/week
Hey there!
Our wonderful housemate Ursula is moving on, which means we’ll soon have a room available in our bright, light-filled Kensington home starting in October. Below we’ve shared a bit about the space and the household. If it feels like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear a little about yourself—and we’ll be in touch to arrange a meet-up.
🏡 About the House
We live in a spacious two-story Federation-style weatherboard house perched on a hill in Kensington, offering a beautiful view of the city skyline and Melbourne’s docks. The house features a lush tropical garden that opens directly from the lounge through French doors, creating a peaceful inner-city oasis.
Highlights:
• 3 bedrooms
• 2 bathrooms (upstairs & downstairs)
• Large kitchen, lounge/library area
• Covered wooden deck
• Central heating + upstairs fan/aircon
• Washing machine & dryer in laundry nook
• Eclectic, bohemian-style furnishings (think cozy, not cluttered)
• Quirky design details like mosaic tiling and sponged-painted rooms
We’re just a short stroll from Bellair Street shops and a larger supermarket in North Melbourne. Public transport is excellent, with four train stations nearby:
• Kensington (Craigieburn line)
• Macaulay (Upfield line)
• South Kensington (Sunbury line)
• Arden Street (Cranbourne line)
For cyclists, we’re just 500m from the Capital City Trail—a 15-minute ride into the city or Brunswick.
🌞 The Room
A bright, small-to-medium room with a large window that fills it with natural light. It has a built-in desk, making it ideal for anyone working or studying from home.
