Home Description
Description of the home
Hi! A light-filled ground-floor bedroom with ensuite in a 2-storey Kensington townhouse. The freshly painted room is has aircon a built-in wardrobe and east-facing window,. The room fits a king-size bed, a desk, a bookcase, etc.
You’d be sharing with me, Simon, a professional who lives in the upstairs part of this spacious house.
I’m clean, respectful and generally well-house-trained. If you’re positive, responsible, like to have a chat and a laugh, can do your bit to keep the place clean and tidy and pay your rent on time, then maybe this is your new home!
The house has a lovely leafy garden with a barbecue, so feel free to have your friends over – after all, it’s your home too!
Also plenty of space, including a separate laundry as well as a dining area that you can use if you WFH (bookshelf makes a great Zoom backdrop!).
Close to shops (Newmarket Plaza), the Kensington and Newmarket train stations (10 mins to CBD), and the hospital and university precincts and North Melbourne are a short 57 tram ride away. About a 30-min ride or 45-min walk to the city.
I’m open to sharing with anyone from mid-30s+, boy, girl and everything in between.
I’m looking for someone who’s also clean, respectful, happy, honest and reliable, and who likes Melbourne and all it has to offer. If this sounds like you, get in touch!

I love live music and sport, theatre and literature. I don't smoke and am not a huge drinker. I work Monday–Friday, so school nights are usually tame.
I don't smoke, and not a big partier these days -- school nights, particularly, are usually pretty casual.
I’m pretty house-trained: I keep the place clean, love to have a chat and occasional shared dinner/drink but also value privacy -- yours and mine.
Reliability, honesty and sense of humour and fun
