Beautifully furnished private room in a luxury designer home in Edgewater, Maribyrnong, offering a relaxed, welcoming and LGBTQ+ friendly environment.

The room is generous in size (approx. 4.2m x 3.5m) and comes fully furnished with a comfortable double bed, TV, study desk and built-in robe — ideal for a professional looking for somewhere stylish, peaceful and comfortable to call home.

You’ll have your own dedicated bathroom, located directly beside the room. The bathroom is essentially for your private use, although the laundry is located within the same space, so I will occasionally need access to use the washing machine/dryer. The room is downstairs, access to yard with seating (sometimes use as a drying area), My study nook is outside the room, I use it sometimes when I working from home. But often keeping it clean and tidy.

The home itself is modern, beautifully designed and well maintained, with quality furnishings and comfortable shared living spaces.

Perfect for anyone working at the new Footscray Hospital — approximately 20 minutes’ walk or around 6 minutes by bus.

About the home

This is a friendly, mature and respectful gay/LGBTQ+ welcoming home. I’d love to find someone who feels comfortable treating the house as their home rather than simply renting a room. We have a 7yrs old miniature pinscher in the house, so she will keep us guarded and company.

Ideally suited to a professional, doctor, nurse, healthcare worker or other working professional who is clean, considerate and enjoys having their own space while still being friendly and easy-going around the house.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautifully designed home in Melbourne’s inner west with plenty of privacy, I’d be happy to have a chat and see if we’re a good fit. Length of stay: I’d ideally prefer to start with a 3-month agreement, and toward the end we can check in and see if we’re both happy to continue.

I’d like to keep things reasonably flexible, as I may need the room as a guest room for visiting family at some point next year. I’m happy to give plenty of notice if that happens.
