Other information
The quietest room in the flat. Honestly, i've rarely slept so soundly. The carpeting on the floor probably helps. It's also what makes the room so cozy and comfy.

Home Description

Description of the home

ABOUT THE ROOM:

- PRIVATE (no shared bed/shared room shenanigans lol) and you can lock it!
- it is super quiet, i slept soundly honestly
- big double-size bed
- electric fan
- super warm down duvet for the winter
- clothes rack
- storage space under the bed

ABOUT THE LOCATION:

The BIG pro of this flat is its location, at the heart of the CBD. Check out the pictures:

- bars, restaurants and cafes everywhere nearby
- groceries stores everywhere (aldi, coles, woolworth, big w, …) and the biggest malls in mel 10min away on foot
- the 2 biggest libraries in the city (i’ve spent the past 3mo working remotely in them)
- the 2 nicest museums (NGV and Museum of Melbourne) are a 20-min walk at most

ABOUT THE FLAT & BUILDING:

- 3 bedrooms including your
- 1 shared bathroom
- 1 shared living room
- oven, dishwasher, kitchen and frying pans galore, hoover, washing machine, broad-band internet, car park, …

ABOUT THE BIKE:

It’s just that i bought it when i arrived in mel but i’m not going to bring it with me to sydney. So, the room is packaged with that SPLENDID red bike:

If you take the room, you also get the bike for free 🙃

INSPECTING:

Bills and expenses

The bills are included in the rent (water, electricity, internet, ...). The big positive is the internet. I'm a digital nomad working remotely and i've never had to complain about it - whether for work or a netflix session.

About occupants
1 room is occupied long-term by Ben (28yo), a well-traveled aussie who spent 10y+ in the UK. He’s extremely nice and a brilliant cook 👀

the other one is occupied by Anaelle (23yo, french) and Wally (25yo, french and aussie) a couple on working holiday visa.s They’re both really nice too!
Compatible people
Honestly, the flat is super easy to integrate into. Everyone minds their own business and makes sure not to step on other people's toes.

That being said, i think it's ideal for active people like all of us (working holiday visas, students, digital nomads, ...).
