Description of the home
Room for rent / flatshare available now in a lovely apartment in Northcote, Melbourne - $280/wk. Thanks for taking the time to provide an introduction when enquiring. I really do appreciate the thoughtful responses where people have taken the time to really think about whether the place and housemate match may be a good fit.
The Neighbourhood
Cozy and homey flat share that is available now. Public transport is almost suspiciously convenient—Dennis railway station is just a 3-minute walk (about 20 minutes to the CBD) and access to the 250 bus.
You’ve got easy access to Northcote High Street—packed with great cafes, bars, boutique shops, and a few spots you’ll want to pretend you discovered first. And if you need a reset, you’re a short stroll from the trails and greenery along Merri Creek—perfect for walks, runs, or just contemplating life like you’re in a low-budget indie film.
The Space
An unfurnished room in a lovely two-bedroom apartment tucked away on a quiet street in a genuinely great neighbourhood. Fully equipped kitchen for anything from instant noodles to MasterChef experiments, plus a living room stocked with board games and books for when Netflix starts judging you.
Laundry includes a washing machine and dryer—because line-drying in Melbourne weather is a gamble. There’s also plenty of parking, safe bike storage, and a shared outdoor area with a community garden, table, and chairs—ideal for soaking up the sun.
Utilities & internet not included. Est. $130-150/mth per person.

I love animals but unfortunately the space probably just isn’t big enough for a dog or other larger animals. Would consider a cat or smaller pets though and sorry, no couples. I’d be keen to start with 3-months initially and explore a longer-term option if there’s a good fit.
