Hi! I’m a 31-year-old teacher looking for the right housemate to share my lovely three-bedroom home. I’m very house-proud and like to keep things clean, tidy, and feeling light and airy—so if you also enjoy a calm and well-kept space, this could be a great fit for you.
The house has just been freshly painted and updated, and I aim to keep it comfortable while still using sustainable practices.
About the space:
A spacious living room with a comfy couch and TV, perfect for relaxing.
A fully equipped kitchen (air fryer, slow cooker, all cutlery & crockery included). You’ll have half the fridge and pantry, plus room for your own items.
A large bathroom. It’s a guest bathroom but will be yours to use. I just ask that it’s kept clean and visitor-ready.
The available bedroom is unfurnished, with a built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, and a window for plenty of fresh air.
A guest room that doubles as a quiet retreat or lounge space.
A backyard deck with a large bar table, ideal for enjoying the outdoors.
Off-street parking available in the driveway.
Washing machine, plus a spare freezer in the garage if you’re into meal prepping!

As mentioned, I’m a teacher, and during the week I tend to keep things fairly quiet and relaxed. I value open communication and a respectful household. I’d love to live with someone who also appreciates a tidy, welcoming environment and is considerate about shared spaces.
Other details:
I do have a pet bird, so unfortunately I can’t accommodate other pets.
I’m allergic to strong scents (perfumes, detergents, etc.). I’ll provide the laundry detergent (Cold Power Sensitive Liquid), and just ask that perfumes/candles are kept to a minimum.
