Private bedroom
- Own bathroom
- Built-in wardrobe
- Air-conditioner
- Desk available
- Use of separate room
I have 1 room available for a female student or professional female. You can choose which room you would like, however there is a second bedroom that you will be able to use as a living/study area with your own furniture. The room for a bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished and the main bathroom would be your own.
1 x room furnished/unfurnished + utilities = $300/week
Please note, there is not a lot of storage area if you have a lot of furniture that wouldn't fit into the two rooms, you would need to store any excess furniture elsewhere.
If you are a student, you will need to be able to tell me what college you are studying at with a contact name for the college for me to verify and also get a reference from.
If you are a professional then I would still like to have a reference that I can contact.
References are important for me as unfortunately I have recently moved out of a share house where the person on the lease was not checking references or anything and just allowing anyone to rent rooms. We ended up in a very threatening environment and I moved out for my own safety. However, police were involved and the person on the lease has now had to get an intervention order. I do not want to revisit that situation and hence why I'm also asking for a female only environment. I have nothing against men whatsoever.
There is heating and evaporative cooling to all areas of the house.
The room is available now. If you are interested please send me a message and I will reply as quickly as I can.
Home Description
Description of the home
It's close to the water and we get lovely breezes in summer. The house is in a safe and quiet part of Point Cook with a real community feel.
It is in walking distance to bus stops and Sanctuary Lakes shops. The house is less than 10 minutes walk to Point Cook Road with bus stops and about a 12 minute walk to Sanctuary Lake shops where there is another bus stop. You can get buses to Williams Landing, Laverton or Hoppers Crossing Train Stations.
The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with a park nearby. There is on street parking if you have a car.

Bills and expenses
All bills are included in the weekly rent. This covers electricity, gas, water and internet. Right now there is no cleaner, you would need to keep your area and other areas you use such as the kitchen, living, laundry etc clean and tidy at all times. I will consider a cleaner in the near future, however there is not one right now.

- Travel
I am quiet, but happy to have a chat. I go for walks, I visit friends and family in other states as often as I can, so there are times where I won't be here.
I will at some point get a small/medium sized dog, a Cavoodle. they do not shed hair and are the loveliest dogs to have.
I read, watch movies/tv to relax and have friends/family stay whenever they are in Melbourne. Throughout COVID I did furniture restoration in the garage and I'm considering doing it again in the not to distant future.
I'm originally born and raised in Sydney (we moved a lot between Sydney and Melbourne as my father was in the Navy). However for the last few years I have lived in Melbourne and prior to this primarily on the Gold Coast. I used to commute between Australia and India (where our offshore teams are) for up to 5 to 6 months at a time, come back to Australia for 4 to 6 weeks and then go back to India. However, in the last two years I wanted to stop doing the long term commutes and spend more time here. I will still do short trips (4 to 6 weeks) as I do love being in India and work with our staff. I love travelling and hope to do further travel through Europe in 2026.
