Hello,
I'm looking for a gay-friendly flatmate to rent a double room in a fully furnished Prahran apartment for 4-6 months while I travel overseas. The bedroom is available from Sunday 15th June until the end of November. I would like someone who will stay for at least four months.
The room has a large QS bed, double wardrobe, bedside tables with drawers, large chest of drawers, TV and its own private ensuite bathroom. So no more having to wait for the bathroom in the morning. I will leave some clothes and items in the room but most of the storage will be yours to use.
The apartment is on the 6th floor of a modern building in Prahran and has sweeping views of the surrounding area from the good sized balcony. The building has a large rooftop/BBQ area which can be booked for private functions (with great city views), a gym and a large garden area.
The apartment has all the usual mod cons - dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, stove/oven, fast wireless internet and a lovely private balcony with sun lounge and outdoor dining table/chairs.
The living area has a sofa, large TV and a dining table with 6 chairs.
The apartment is near the corner of Chapel and High Streets and is a short walk to Coles and Woolies, many good gyms, bars and restaurants. Prahran train station is a short walk away and there are tram stops at the end of the street. Prahran Pool and Princes Gardens are minutes away.
To share with one professional gay guy in his early 40s. Rent is $1650 per month (approx $380 per week) which includes all bills and fortnightly cleaner. Rent is payable at the start of each month and one month bond/deposit is required.
I hope to hear from you soon, and please tell me a little about yourself (job, where you're from, what you do in spare time etc). It's important when sharing a flat with someone to at least be a little compatible. I'm ideally looking for someone who likes a clean and quiet home. Prefer non-smokers and I'm not looking for someone who wants to bring the party home every weekend. It's not a party flat - although small gatherings with drinks and friends are welcome. NO HARD DRUG/ICE USERS.
