Description of the home
Furnished room with own bathroom near Preston Market!
My sister and her partner are moving back to Ireland I’m in the market for a new housemate.
Perks
The room is furnished with a double bed frame, double mattress, two bedside tablets and built in wardrobes.
You have your own spacious bathroom and don’t have to share this with anyone. We live next door to an IGA so it takes 10 seconds to walk there (so handy for essential groceries or a cold drink when you’re hungover)
I co-parent (lol) a big gentle giant dog called Seamus who is here half the month so loving dogs is essential
There is a Pilates studio and beautiful Italian coffee shop about a 6 minute walk from the house.
Transport
It’s directly on the No 11 tram line, it’s a 1 minute walk to the tram stop in and out of the city (goes through Northcote & Fitzroy) We are a 15 minute walk to Preston market and Preston train station.

33, originally from Belfast. I’ve been living in Melbourne for nearly 10 years and I’ve been living in Preson for the last year with my sister and her partner, I work mainly from home each week with 1/2 days in the office so having someone on a different schedule would work better. Although there is space for two people to WHF if needed.
I’m pretty low key during the week just out walking my dog, going to pilates or visiting friends/going to gigs. Tend to be out more on the weekends for dinners/drinks etc. Would love someone that would share a glass of wine and watch some trashy tv with.
Séamus:
Is 6 years old, originally from rural NSW. He’s a big gentle giant, we adopted him in 2022 from the pound and he’s the best. He’s very cuddly and lazy. Extra points if you’d be willing to take him for walks and look after him when I’m out and about 🙂
