Home Description

Description of the home

Hey folks! We’re looking for a new housemate (preferably 30+) to join our quiet and cozy home in the northern pocket of Reservoir. The house is set back from the main roads near Keon Park BP, with easy access to public transport.

**THE HOUSE**
Our place is a solid 3-bedroom, 2 toilets, brick home nestled in a peaceful pocket, tucked back from the main roads. Inside, we’ve got ducted heating and evaporative cooling throughout (with the exception of the sunroom and laundry). There’s a cozy living room that flows into the kitchen with a handy study nook. The bathroom includes a shower with dual shower heads, a separate bath, and toilet. We also have a sunroom and an additional back room connected to the kitchen. The laundry comes equipped with a washer and dryer, and a second separate toilet. Outside, there's a front garden and a generous backyard with four garden beds, fruit trees, a garage, and shed. The backyard is private, sun-soaked, and perfect for relaxing or getting your hands dirty with some gardening.

**THE LOCATION**
We’re a 15-minute walk or 4-minute drive from Keon Park train station. Bus routes 556, 902, and 552 are all within easy walking distance, and it’s a short drive to the M3, nearby parks, and other daily essentials.

About occupants
A is non-binary and works in health — mostly social at work, low-key at home (but still likes to join a group conversation or activity), and enjoys gaming. T is also non-binary, plant and animal lover, works in mental health support and does dog walking/sitting on the side. We both value a peaceful, grounded home and enjoy a slower pace of life when off the clock. We’re both 30+, value open communication, mutual respect, and keeping the household running smoothly. We rotate chores and hold regular house meetings. We’re looking for someone who is aligned with that rhythm.
Compatible people
You’re not a SWERF or TERF, cop or zio and you value kindness, honesty, consent, and contributing to a respectful and tidy home. You’re clean, considerate, and looking for a longer-term living situation. Ideally, you’re 30+, mostly veg/vegan, and interested in joining a quieter, queer- and neurodivergent-friendly space. You're also happy to join the lease and take part in shared responsibilities.
If this sounds like your kind of setup, send us a message with a bit about yourself — your age, life situation, interests, and anything else you'd like to share. We’d love to meet you and see if it’s a good fit.
