I'm fairly active, gym a few times a week and cook quite healthy (predominantly keto, loosely tracking macros)
Background as a project manager & mechanical engineer (but quit because I hated the office/desk job lifestyle
I work from one of the buildings coworking spaces or meeting rooms a fair bit — my schedule's pretty flexible and dynamic. I'm big into cooking, technology, a vast array of music and feilds of health and sciences.
I've spent a lot of time in Southeast Asia for work, travelled the world and australia a fair bit and just generally love learning about food and culture from everywhere. I usually fly to Perth and Thailand each approx twice a year minimum, plus ad hoc holidays/business development when needed.
The apartment's at The Gladstone on Gladstone Street — insane resort-tier facilities, great location and a lovely community. I'm looking for someone or a couple who actually like to have a laugh at times and want to share a home rather than just rent a room. Happy to sometimes cook together, share meals, have a yarn — but also totally respect when you need your own space.
I've lived with plenty of different individuals and couples over the years in all kinds of locations and situations. More than happy for you pick any to ask them about me :)
I'm not precious about much but a dirty kitchen or messy shared spaces (over more than 3 days) will start to get to me.
Beyond that, I'm pretty open. You don't need to be into the same stuff as me, but being someone who can communicate directly is important — if something's not working I'd rather know.
Bonus points if you're into food or cooking (even just being a willing taste tester, and providing objective harsh, critical feedback is someting I respect and invite )
Couples welcome if you're the right fit. If anything, I've found its sometimes better for perspective or semi-neutral 3rd party
I don't mind what you do for work or how long you're looking to stay, youre more than welcome to have friends over. This is literally the best building to do so, the apartment is also set up pretty damn well.
Lets have a meal or happily do a few nights/weeks trial and see how we go. No pressure on either end :)
