About occupants
Hi, we’re Jason and Javier — a couple in our mid-30s looking for a new housemate to join our relaxed and respectful home. Jason works full-time in hotel management, Monday to Friday, and is currently studying an MBA with RMIT, so he keeps a pretty full schedule. Javier is originally from Colombia and is growing his own Colombian food business — so expect the occasional delicious empanada or arepa!

We’re both easygoing, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces. We enjoy the occasional wine and movie night on the couch, and love going out for dinner with friends when we’re not winding down at home. We’re social but also value quiet downtime and personal space.

Jason’s schedule is fairly regular with office-style hours, while Javier’s is more flexible as he builds his business. We’re vegetarian-friendly (Jason is vegetarian) and happy to share meals now and then — especially if you’re open to a bit of Colombian flavour!

The apartment is set up with smart devices and most streaming services, which we’re happy to share. We’re ideally looking for someone who is independent, clean, and open-minded. Bonus points if you’re LGBTQIA+ friendly and enjoy a good laugh.
