Home Description

Description of the home

The place is in a large old Victorian house on Carlisle street. All of the bedrooms are the size of studio apartments and are situated in the front part of the house. Towards the back is the harder bathroom, kitchen, small lounge room. In the rear of the house is the laundry, second toilet and large backyard for the area.

The room is very large with very high ceilings. It has a window that looks out into the screened off entry way area and a big black feature fire place. As you can see from the photo it’s large enough to have a deck, bed and couch all in the room. There are no built in cupboards.

It’s the perfect room for someone looking for some space, especially if you work from home as the rooms are essentially studio apartments.

About the occupants
Hey I’m Liam, I’m 34 and work as a freelance web developer and bartender. And my house mate is Alexis, 26, is a chef from France 🇫🇷

We are looking for someone to join us in our Carlisle Street house as long time house mate Jake is moving in with his partner.
Compatible people
We both can be quite sociable but also sometimes like to keep to ourselves. We both often will stop and have a chat if we run into each other. We both work late night schedules.

I’m a musician who like to DJ but the rooms in our place have thick walls so sounds is quite isolated inside the house.

Sometimes we like to have people round, not often, but usually that would be out the back. Which is great as you can shut the doors to the back part of the house and you don’t hear anything.
