Home Description

Description of the home

Move in date is 21.09.26 but current house mate is actually moving out on 28.08.26 so possibly can discuss someone moving in earlier would just need to organise the amount of rent being paid to the current house mate as they are paid up until the 21st.

Great location in St Kilda, close to everything you need day-to-day. There are tram stops and train stations nearby, making it easy to get around and commute into the city.
You’ll also be close to supermarkets, shops and everyday essentials, as well as plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars around St Kilda. The beach and other local St Kilda attractions are also within easy reach.
The home itself is mostly furnished, so you’ll only need to furnish your own bedroom. The available room is unfurnished, giving you the freedom to set it up however you like.
There is also a car spot available, which is a great bonus for anyone with a car.
The house has a comfortable, relaxed feel and I’m still fairly new to the property myself, so there’s plenty of opportunity for us to make it feel like a shared home rather than you feeling like you’re moving into someone else’s established space.

Bills and expenses

Bills are spilt each month usually being around $100 roughly each that includes electricity and Internet then every 3 months a water bill comes out. About occupants
Hi, I’m Olivia 30. I’m originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for around 8 years. I work full-time and have recently moved into this place myself, so I’m still settling in and making it feel like home.
I’m friendly, easygoing, clean and tidy. I enjoy cooking and generally cook for myself, although I’m always happy to have the occasional dinner together.
During the week I have a fairly normal work routine and enjoy having a relaxed, comfortable home to come back to. I like being able to have a chat, hang out or share a meal with my housemate, but I also really value having my own downtime and respect other people’s space.
At the moment it will just be me and the well you living here, so I’m hoping to find someone I get along well with who is clean, respectful pays bills on time and wants the place to feel like home.
Compatible people
For me, a good flatmate is someone who is friendly, clean, tidy, respectful and easygoing. I’d love to live with someone who treats the place like their own home and is considerate when it comes to shared spaces.
I’m looking for someone who is reliable with rent and bills, communicates well and is happy to contribute to keeping the home clean and comfortable.
It would be great to find someone who enjoys having a chat, hanging out or sharing the occasional dinner together, but who also values their own downtime and respects each other’s personal space.
Ultimately, I’m looking for someone I can get along with and feel comfortable living with, where we can both do our own thing while still having a friendly and relaxed home environment.
