AVAILABLE MID DECEMBER, LONG TERM LEGEND WANTED - St Kilda East
The house is big, bright and drama free, with three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, two living areas, a laundry, a sunny open kitchen, and a big backyard.
The room up for grabs is the largest in the house, filled with natural light and plenty of space for a queen size bed, desk, lounge or any other furniture you might want. It’s warm, spacious and has a lovely relaxed feel.
The vibe is relaxed, respectful and tidy. We like a chat and a laugh, but this isn’t a party house. We’re not after a passenger, everyone chips in to keep things running smoothly. There’s a $5 weekly kitty that covers household sundries like cleaning supplies, sponges, paper towel and kitchen basics. If cleaning isn’t your thing, no stress, a cleaning fee can be added for a professional cleaner, though we prefer to keep it in house.
Rent is $1,600 per month plus utilities with one months bond.
ABOUT US
You’ll be sharing with two easy going full time workers, one in building restoration and one in engineering. We’re in our late 20s and mid 40s, both friendly, respectful and career focused. We keep things clean, appreciate good conversation, but also enjoy our own space. A female housemate would be great to balance the harmony - but we’re open to all prospective, good, human beings!
Oh, and the most important resident, our Ragdoll cat, the Lord of the Manor himself. He’s beautiful, sassy, and gives out free snuggles if you earn his trust, so cat lovers only please.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who’s
• Mature, grounded, and kind hearted
• Clean, considerate, and not allergic to a vacuum
• Has their own life but likes the occasional chat over a cuppa
• Appreciates a peaceful home, not a loud one
• Doesn’t smoke weed or throw parties on Tuesday nights, or ever really
• Just a good, everyday person with decent energy
WHAT THE HOUSE ISN’T FOR
• Self centred, self focused, or noisy party people
• Those who think cleaning means lighting incense
• People allergic to cats, commitment, or basic respect
LOCATION PERKS
Heaps of off street parking, walking distance to Chapel Street Prahran and Carlisle Street Balaclava, with public transport practically at the door. Cafés, gyms, and bakeries all within a short stroll.
If you’re interested, perhaps we can grab a coffee first to see if we get along, and if it feels like a good fit, you can come by to check out the place in person! 😀

The other housemate is late 20’s, and works in banking, happy and friendly.
We both get along well and enjoy living in a clean, well appointed home with the cheeky house mascot 🐱
