Hi there, I’m looking for a friendly, considerate flatmate to share my cozy apartment. I’m often away for work, so the space is quiet and relaxed – perfect if you appreciate a peaceful home base.

* Your room: Medium-sized, north-facing, with a small built-in wardrobe. Peacefully positioned at the rear of the building.
* Fully equipped: Comfy living area with 2 couches, Apple TV, fridge, washer, microwave, blender + dedicated WFH desk.
* 1x Semi-covered carpark included (street parking is also plentiful).
Moving in?
Your bedroom will be empty (ready for your personal touch), but I’m happy to provide a bed frame if needed. To keep our shared spaces clutter-free, let’s chat beforehand about any larger items.

DOES NOT includes electricity, internet, gas, or water but it is cheap, even in the cold weather and with all the tech housemate & I have been running; approximately $120 per month....sometimes lower.
Rent is due at the beginning of the month and bills around mid month.

Work-wise, I used to be a professional photographer working with magazines and the sports/broadcast industry here. These days, I consult in AV equipment distribution and run my own small business in Motion Control Robotics for film and TV – it’s a pretty niche and fascinating world. I do travel occasionally for work, so the apartment is often nice and quiet.
As a flatmate, I’m:
* Respectful & Considerate: Big on personal space and quiet time.
* Clean & Tidy: You’ll never trip over my mess – I clean up after myself (and yes, I turn off lights!).
* A Pretty Decent Cook: Being half Mexican, I love cooking and am always happy to share some tasty meals.
Outside of work? I’m usually:
* Curled up with a book, writing, or watching a really good film (Netflix quality control is key).
* Working on a project motorcycle or car (one in the backyard).
* Hitting the gym with the sauna (less than 1km away!), playing pool at the pub across the road, shooting hoops, or even something adventurous like axe-throwing or skydiving (yep, I’ve done a few jumps).

2. Clean & Tidy: We all have our moments, but generally keeping shared areas (kitchen, bathroom, living room) clean and doing your bit is super important. Think "clean up after yourself" as the golden rule!
3. Drama-Free & Positive: Looking for someone easygoing, communicative, and solution-oriented. We're all human, but a generally positive outlook and avoiding unnecessary conflict make home life much sweeter. Absolutely no hard drugs.
4. Friendly & Community-Minded: While we respect privacy, I do hope for a friendly connection. Someone open to the occasional chat, shared meal, or maybe even a movie night or pub visit. Your friends are absolutely welcome visitors – this is your home too.
