I rather not rent out to couples because i’d prefer to keep the number of people in the apartment to a lower number! Just makes it feel less stuffy for everybody. Also haven’t put double glazing on the windows yet but i’m getting round to it.

Depending on the number of tennants, we’ll divide the bills equally between us while being sensible about our energy consumption. Best not to leave the AC and lights on unnecessarily or else we’ll have to renegotiate bill distribution to avoid unfairness.

About the occupants
Hi! My name is Kyana. I’m 19 years old, and recently moved back to Australia for University after having grown up abroad. I’m currently studying Business/Accounting at RMIT, and am considering getting a part-time job as well. Additionally, i’ll be attending many external classes. My busy schedule means we won’t run into eachother much, which is great if you value privacy most. However, a qualm about me is that i’m a musician, so sometimes i will practice my instruments at home. Don’t worry though, i’ll choose appropriate times where i won’t cause disturbance.

I have lots of experience with living alone, and with roommates, so i’ve learned how to maintain a conducive environment. I’m very tidy, clean, and organized, and i hope that my roommate will be the same. I also hope we can unanimously agree to respect the shared space of our apartment, not just physically (having rowdy guests over often) but also audibly (playing loud music at innappropriate times). This doesn’t mean its going to be uncomfortably strict, just be mindful of eachother (turn down the volume when your roommate is working/studying), so that everyone can be happy.
