A charming, older Greek-style home with a quirky retro vibe, located in the heart of Thornbury!
The location is honestly one of my favourite things about living here. There's a bus stop about a minute's walk away, and the vibrant High Street is just a 5-minute bus ride or roughly 15-minute walk. If you love live music, gigs, pubs, op shops and discovering new places, you'll love the area. There's always something happening, even on a weekday! Northcote is also nearby, with supermarkets and public transport options easily accessible.
The house has a shared bathroom, a large TV, fridge, washing machine, dryer and clothes rack. There's no dishwasher, so we wash dishes by hand. Being an older home, there's no built-in heating or air conditioning, but we have a portable heater and ceiling fan.
You'll be sharing the main house with just one other person (me!). Our friendly and helpful landlord lives separately in a granny flat on the property.
Overall, it's a relaxed, lived-in home with plenty of character in a fantastic neighbourhood! 😊

Friends call me Chela. I'm originally from Kenya and have been living in this house for two years now.
I love listening to music while doing chores around the house. I'm pretty good at cleaning up after myself and would appreciate someone who does the same, although I'm definitely not obsessive about it!
I work casually as a support worker, and when I'm not working, you'll usually find me hanging out with friends, out dancing, watching a good show or just chilling in my room. 😌
I'm friendly and enjoy a good chat, but I also appreciate my alone time and respect other people's space.
