Home Description

Description of the home

Large semi-detached home with beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings across both levels, and fairy lights throughout — it has a lot of character. Situated at the top of a hill overlooking Kooyong Station, with the 16 and 58 trams literally at the door. Street parking with no time limits if you have a car.
Short walk to supermarkets in most directions, a park almost next door, and easy access to everything Armadale and Toorak have to offer — cafes, shops, the lot. Kooyong Station puts the city within easy reach too.
The house is fully furnished throughout the common areas, with plenty of storage. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning, and the home stays comfortable year-round without needing to lean on heating or cooling much. There's a courtyard/garden, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and fast broadband included.
One thing worth knowing: one of the living rooms is used during the day for vocal lessons and kinesiology sessions, and occasionally for small music theatre rehearsals. It's a lively, creative household — if that sounds like your kind of place, you'll love it here.

About occupants
I'm Daniele — a musician, music director, and kinesiologist working across both worlds. Most days you'll find me teaching voice, playing piano, or seeing kinesiology clients from home. I'm into meditation, yoga, and good coffee, and I take the kitchen fairly seriously. I'm sociable but value a calm, respectful home above everything else.

Sophie is in her late 20s, originally from the UK, and has made Melbourne home. She's studying early childhood education and has a genuine love of music, songwriting, gaming, and Lego — she's creative, warm, and easy to be around. Sophie is clean, considerate, and takes shared living seriously — we've built a pretty intentional household together, with clear expectations and open communication. She's independent and happy in her own company but friendly and approachable when you cross paths.
Compatible people
We'd love someone who is grounded, considerate, and comfortable in their own company. You don't need to be our best friend, but basic respect for shared spaces and honest communication go a long way here. Ideally a working professional in their 30s or older who is used to living well with others. Comfortable with a creative, holistic household — singing and sessions happen here during the day.
