A third potential option is for you to take both the smaller bedrooms and to divide the house in 2, in this scenario I would live in the portion of the house inline with the master bedroom. Everyone would have their own access to their respective halves of the house. The doorway into the kitchen from my side of the house would be plastered over as well as a divider placed on the verandah to turn the place effectively into a duplex with you on one side and me on the other.

I'm Antonio, I do shift work and travel a lot so I'm not around heaps, probably away 4 nights per week on average. When at home I like to tinker in the garage doing metalworking or just whatever really, otherwise I'm a bit of a nerd and build models and brew beer (always more than happy to share!).

Ideally you're not opposed to having the odd chat, I'm not home that much but I'd prefer to be able to have a chat when we cross paths and have the odd drink rather than dodging each other. I don't have any pets currently (apart from the little Ringtail possum that gets fed on the deck) but have had them in the past so you're more than welcome to bring yours along, only thing I'll say is they have to be outside pets.
