Description of the home

A midsize, comfortable 4 bedroom house in Birmingham Gardens, with a large backyard. The large lounge room features a TV with PS4, comfy lounges, air conditioning and a fireplace for winter, and an air conditioned sun room / spare bedroom provides a smaller shared space. The kitchen is old, but well appointed with stainless bench tops, a dishwasher and a large fridge and freezer. We share one bathroom, which along with the hallways and laundry has been repainted and lightly renovated.

The back yard features enough room for a large party, as well as a small but expanding veggie garden. The garage is currently used as a storage space as well as parking for pushbikes and motorcycles, and the driveway provides enough off street room to park three cars. The house is also located within ten minutes walk of the University of Newcastle and Stockland Jesmond, and have a bus stop down the road.

Bills and expenses

Electricity and internet are shared evenly. Currently net is $30 per month each, electricity varies a lot depending on air conditioner use. We take turns to buy shared items (cleaning and bathroom).
